Latest Update - July 22, 2010 -
Want to let everyone know that we will be at Bonneville for the first 2 days of Speed Week, August 14-15. We should be somewhere between the pits and staging lanes. We'll have the Zipper Motors banner on top of the trailer so we shouldn't be hard to find. Stop by, say hi and hang out for a while. I plan on bringing the 2 projects we have for sale below so you can check them out. Both are still available. Bring a trailer and you can take one home!
The first is the New Roadster Pickup that we have been working on for the past year. It is now a running car, just needs paint & upholstery, tailored to your liking, to be complete.
Here are a few specs:
New Roadster body w/track nose hood and the first Zipper pickup bed.
The first Zipper Lakes Modified with independent front suspension.
Zipper’s independent rear suspension.
350 Ram Jet motor, Tremec 5-speed transmission.
Battery and 19 gallon fuel tank in bed, with storage space to spare.
Zipper’s bullet headlights.
We also have a ’27 Roadster roller ready to go which includes:
’27 Roadster body w/dash and brake pedal installed.
’29 style 1 piece tilt hood.
Windshield posts and top bows installed.
I-beam front suspension and Ford 9" housing and axles.
Rear of frame is boxed to support the new pickup bed or our ’23 turtle deck.
If you are interested in either of these ready to go packages, or would like us to start on one from scratch, please drop me a line.
